Leah Melby Clinton
I am a writer, editor, and content strategist whose work has encompassed traditional editorial, advertorial, and brand-led marketing and storytelling. As an on-staff editor and contributor at titles like ELLE, Glamour, Harper’s BAZAAR, Esquire, Town & Country, and Marie Claire, no day—or role—was ever the same, whether the focus was on contributing a slate of daily news-focused posts, overseeing SEO-targeted shopping roundups, or reporting longer original features and profile. I love service-focused style content that’s crafted to help readers shop smarter and dress better; exploring niche topics; and interviewing real people and celebrities alike. Fascinating stories exist everywhere—you just have to ask the right questions.
When working in-house with fashion brands, my sweet spot is stretching across teams and departments to optimize ideation and strategy, maximizing content creation and usage to create stories that seamlessly bring a brand to life.
My editorial journey has continued with In Kind, the biannual print magazine I founded and edit. What started as a ‘zine when I became a mother and realized the type of content I was hungry for didn’t exist has grown into a thriving community of likeminded women.
I grew up in central Florida and received a degree in magazine journalism from Boston University. I currently live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with my husband and two children.
